Kathleen Mullin:
Showtime, produced for Project Create, is the seventh short film Kathleen has had the pleasure of directing. Her previous film, Rosa Peligrosa, was an Official Selection in the Palm Beach International Film festival and a Best Picture Nominee in the Script2Screen Fest. Another of her works, a documentary entitled Together Alone: We are The Gathering was screened to sold out shows at film festivals in Los Angeles and New York.
Her true passion is directing, but she has also found success as a screenwriter. Kathleen's feature length script, Nine Lives, was a finalist in several film festivals and won a Staged Reading Award.
She has several other screenplays in development including Life Among the Ruins, which is based on a true story about a young widow who discovers the truth about her husband after his tragic and untimely death; along with her script All is Forgiven, the adaptation of the autobiography Sins of a Father.
Kathleen first studied film at the University of Florida before she found herself way out west. She has lived overseas in several countries including Spain, Scotland and Puerto Rico. Along with her international locales Kathleen has lived from Maine to Florida; Seattle to Phoenix prior to her arrival in Hollywood.
Currently, Kathleen works as a Creative Executive in the development group of a production company in West Hollywood.
